Georgetown Twp., MI (WGHN) – A 54-year-old Jenison man was hospitalized with minor injuries after crashing into a home Sunday morning in Georgetown Township. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened around 11:35 a.m. in the 7400 block of Windgate Drive.
Investigators said the man’s Ford Escape left the roadway, traveled through several residential yards and struck a house before coming to a stop. The driver was treated for minor injuries. No one else was injured.
Authorities have not released information on whether anyone was inside the home at the time of the crash or the extent of the damage.
The incident remains under investigation.
