Cyclosporiasis Cases In Michigan Up To 1,251

(Lansing, MI) – The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says the number of Cyclosporiasis [[ seye-kloh-spore-eye-sis ]] cases in the state is now at one-thousand-251. Most remain in southeast Michigan, and no source has been pinpointed yet.

Taco Bell, however, is pulling lettuce, pico de gallo, guacamole, and cilantro onions as a precaution. Cyclosporiasis is an intestinal illness that causes explosive diarrhea and dozens have had to be hospitalized. The diarrhea leads to people becoming dehydrated.
