Grand Haven and Ferrysburg Council to meet tonight

Ottawa County, MI (WGHN) -Grand Haven City Council meets tonight.  At 7:00 p.m.  before the regular meeting begins, Historic Conservation District Commission Chair Chad Fisk will present information on efforts to preserve Grand Haven’s historic landmarks.

On the agenda at 7:30 council is set to review a Brownfield tax increment financing (TIF) plan for the proposed South Village development during its meeting Monday night at City Hall.

The South Village project would redevelop the former Dake Corporation property. Council members will also conduct a public hearing on a Brownfield plan tied to the proposed Flatiron Building redevelopment at 7 N. Seventh St.

The Ferrysburg City Council is scheduled to meet Monday at City Hall, where members will consider accepting the donation of a one-acre parcel next to the municipal building from Ferrysburg Artemis Holdings, LLC.

Other agenda items include filling a vacant council seat, approving budget amendments, reviewing a proposal to update the city’s website for $6,500, considering a zoning map amendment and making appointments to various city boards and commissions.
