Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – The Grand Haven Area Community Foundation has announced the addition of two new members to its Board of Trustees while also recognizing two longtime board members for their service.

Renee Denslow and Terry Nash have joined the board, bringing a wealth of experience in nonprofit leadership, business, finance and community engagement.

Denslow has more than 20 years of leadership experience in finance, marketing, construction and nonprofit management. She most recently served as executive director of Bluebird Cancer Retreats of West Michigan and is the founder of 3D Homes, LLC. She has also supported the foundation through service on its Grants Committee and involvement with several local nonprofit and educational organizations.

Nash is managing director of Coach Road Capital, where he oversees retail and real estate investments. His professional background includes commercial real estate, banking and investment strategy. He has previously served on the foundation’s Audit and Investment Committees and has longstanding ties to the Spring Lake community.

Foundation leaders said both trustees will help guide the organization’s efforts to support local causes and strengthen the community.

The foundation also thanked outgoing trustees Mary Carole Cotter and David Swain for their years of service. Officials said both played important roles in advancing the foundation’s mission and helping expand its impact throughout the region.

GHACF President and CEO Hadley Streng noted that nearly 100 volunteers serve on the foundation’s boards and committees, providing leadership and expertise that help advance the organization’s work.

Founded in 1971, the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation serves Northwest Ottawa County through charitable giving, grantmaking, nonprofit support and community leadership initiatives. It is one of Michigan’s largest community foundations and is regularly recognized among the top community foundations in the country.
