Allendale Twp., MI (WGHN) – An early morning crash involving an Life EMS ambulance is under investigation in Allendale Township.
The crash happened around 5 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of 48th Avenue and Lake Michigan Drive near Grand Valley State University. According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, a 45-year-old Hudsonville driver failed to yield to an ambulance that had its lights and sirens activated, causing a collision. Deputies say no one was injured.
The investigation remains ongoing.
The crash comes just one day after another ambulance crash in Allegan County, where an ambulance rolled over after being rear-ended, injuring three people.
