Portage City Manager Retiring In July

(Portage, MI) – Portage City Manager Pat McGinnis is retiring on July 3rd. He was hired in July 2022 after serving as the city manager in Grand Haven and the city says he has been to City Hall wherever he has worked since 1988. The reason McGinnis is retiring has not been announced and the city is launching its search for its new city manager.

McGinnis says Portage “is an ideal city in very good shape.”
