(Hershey, PA) – All Hershey and Reese’s chocolate products will be made with “classic” recipes starting next year. The Hershey Company has announced plans to bring all products in line with their “classic milk and dark chocolate recipes.” Hershey noted the change will only affect a “small portion of remaining” products, and the core recipes for its iconic Hershey’s chocolate bars and Reese’s peanut butter cups are still the same.
The announcement comes after the grandson of Reese’s founder H.B. Reese made a social post accusing Hershey of changing his family’s formula to a “chocolate compound coating” back in February.
