Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – Grand Haven Public Safety crews quickly knocked down a house fire Tuesday afternoon in the Village Green manufactured home community.
Firefighters were called to the 1700 block of Robbins Road, where they found smoke coming from the roof of the home. A woman and her infant made it out safely, and no injuries were reported. The fire is believed to have started in the kitchen.
Crews, along with Grand Haven Township firefighters, were able to contain the flames to a small area.
The resident is now receiving support services, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
