(Queens, NY) – A flier is in custody after making threats during an outburst on board an American Airlines flight that left New York’s JFK Airport en route to Chicago Sunday. The flight had to be diverted to Detroit after passengers say the man threatened to kill people on the plane and went on a rant during a loud outburst.
Fliers then had to take a bus and then board another plane. Passengers arrived in Chicago last night about nine hours after the flight was originally scheduled to land.
