(Atlanta, GA) – Airports across the country are experiencing slower operations than usual.. Lines at security checkpoints have slowed to a near crawl in some cases as TSA workers deal with the ongoing partial government shutdown, now a month old. That’s led to employees working without a paycheck, while still others are calling in sick or even looking for other jobs.
Airports are advising passengers to arrive up to three hours early to clear security.
