(Lansing, MI) – Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is declaring a state of emergency in three counties as a result of the tornadoes that hit the area on Friday. In Three Rivers, Brady Zent says the devastation is unbelievable.
At least four people were killed in the deadliest tornado outbreak that state has seen in decades. Meanwhile in Oklahoma, an EF2 tornado killed a mother and daughter while another twister left two others dead. NBC’s George Solis [[ soh-LEASE ]] reports parts of Michigan and Oklahoma were hard hit.
In Oklahoma, Kevin Turner says he yelled at his family to get in the cellar as a tornado approached.
