Early Morning House Fire in Robinson Township

Ottawa county, MI (WGHN) – Robinson Township Fire responded to a house fire on 128th Avenue early Sunday morning. The township’s Fire Department posted details on its Facebook page.

“Upon our arrival we were met with heavy smoke from a fire in the attic of the residence,” the department said. “The homeowners were able to exit safely.”

Grand Haven Township, Allendale Township, Crockery Township and Olive Township fire all responded to the blaze.

The Department stated that “Mutual aid is vital in labor intensive fires such as this. We are fortunate for great relationships with our neighboring departments, and are grateful for their help this morning,”

The source of the fire was not disclosed.
