(Lansing, MI) – The Michigan Department of Treasury has issued around 565-million-dollars so far this year in tax refunds. They have received over one-point-six-million tax returns so far, up 45-percent from 2025. Deputy state treasurer Kavita Kale says most taxpayers can expect to receive their refund within four to six weeks.
Some, however, have complained about already receiving their federal refund but have not gotten any information when Lansing will send theirs.
