Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – The City of Grand Haven’s ’finance director, Emily Greene presented the first draft of the 2026–27 fee schedule at the Feb. 16 council meeting, highlighting several changes staff recommends be included in the upcoming budget.

The city would move Mulligan’s Hollow and Central Park Place to per-hour rental rates to increase flexibility and operational efficiency;

Other possible changes include:

commercial downtown trash pickup would be billed by lot and occupancy instead of residential-equivalent units; the airport tie-down fee was adjusted from $25 per day to $100 per month based on airport board discussion; and a bed-and-breakfast renewal fee was added to the fee schedule and set at $100 to cover time, background checks, zoning reviews and site inspections.

The proposed fee schedule is just an early draft and will be refined during budget talks.
