(Lansing, MI) – Michigan Senate Minority Leader Aric Nesbitt of Van Buren County will give the Republican response tomorrow night to Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s final State of the State address. This will be the third time Nesbitt has given the GOP response to Whitmer, as he also did it in 2023 and 2024. He is seeking the Republican nomination for governor.
Nesbitt’s press secretary says he will “address the real state of our state and how Republicans will clean up the mess” that Whitmer will leave behind when her term ends.
