Jamestown Twp., MI (WGHN) – Four people were injured — at least three of them seriously — in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Jamestown Township. The crash occurred around 11:40 a.m. in the 200 block of Adams Street near Kenowa Avenue, along the Kent and Ottawa county line, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said a 21-year-old man driving an SUV crossed the center line into the westbound lane of Adams Street and collided with a Jeep driven by a 63-year-old woman.

The SUV driver became trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated. His passenger, a 79-year-old man, was ejected during the crash. The Jeep driver and her 65-year-old passenger were also seriously injured. The three older adults were transported to a hospital for treatment.

Deputies and the Jamestown Township Fire Department responded to the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
