(Grand Rapids, MI) – The number of first time filings for unemployment are decreasing across Michigan. That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says for the week ending February 7th, there were more than 71-hundred first time filings in the state. That number is more than 18-hundred less filings than the week prior.
Nationally, there was a decrease in the number of initial filings for the week.
