(Holland, MI) – The main parking lot to Holland State Park is closed due to what law enforcement is calling “illegal activities.” The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources says there have been numerous complaints over the last few months about reckless driving, loud exhaust, after hours activity in the parking lot such as drinking, and pedestrians nearly being struck by vehicles. The park remains open daily and a smaller parking lot is available.
The main parking will remain closed until further notice.
