Blendon Twp., MI (WGHN) – A 47-year-old man from Hudsonvile was injured in a two-car crash Thursday morning in Blendon Township, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say the crash happened around 7:17 a.m. when a 31-year-old Jeep driver lost control and crossed the center line on Port Sheldon Street near Bradenwood Drive, hitting a Chevy Impala head-on. The Impala was driven by a 47-year-old Hudsonville man.
The Impala’s driver was pinned in the vehicle and freed by Blendon Township firefighters. He was taken to a local hospital by LIFE EMS with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The Jeep driver was not hurt. Port Sheldon Street between 48th and 56th avenues was closed during the investigation.
