Ottawa County, MI (WGHN) – Former Ravenna High School teacher Paul Masko, 54, has pleaded guilty to a federal sexual-exploitation charge involving a 16-year-old special education student. He still faces state charges including criminal sexual conduct and possession of child sexually abusive material.
TV 13 on your side reports that investigators say Masko had the student create explicit images, and the case expanded after more details emerged showing sexual activity occurred in his car and at his home. Digital evidence linked the student to his residence during one of the incidents.
Bond was set at $500,000 for Masko who is from Grand Haven due to concerns he contacted the student during the investigation. He is under strict monitoring and a no-contact order.
He faces 15–30 years in federal prison at his March 25, 2026 sentencing, along with a separate state sentencing in January.
