WRIGHT TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 36-year-old Coopersville woman was seriously injured Saturday after a pickup clipped an Ottawa County plow truck on I-96.
The crash happened around Saturday 11:15 a.m. near 24th Avenue, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators say a 37-year-old Coopersville man was driving eastbound with the woman when he attempted to pass a county plow truck operated by a 40-year-old Ravenna man.
While making the pass, the pickup brushed the side of the plow truck and veered into the median’s guard wires.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital and is listed in serious condition. The pickup’s driver was not hurt, and the plow truck driver also reported no injuries, deputies said.
