(Kent County, MI) – The Gerald R. Ford International Airport is expected to see a record number of travelers this Thanksgiving week. The FAA says more than 360-thousand flights will take place in the eight-day period around Thanksgiving. At the Gerald R. Ford International Airport, more than 153-thousand passengers are expected between today and December 3rd. That number will be a five-percent increase over last year and break records.
With the potential of snow falling in the area this week, flyers are urged to check their flight status before arriving at the airport and to arrive early for their flights.
