(Delton, MI) – One of the three men who were acquitted of charges for allegedly planning to kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer during the COVID-19 pandemic is seeking the Republican nomination for governor. William Null is 43-years-old and lives in Barry County in Delton. He filed a campaign finance statement of organization this week with the state. Null says he is applying for a reporting waiver as he does not plan to raise or spend more than one-thousand-dollars in his campaign.

His treasurer is Eric Monitor, who was also acquitted of the charges.
