(Lansing, MI) – The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says they will pay full SNAP benefits to one-point-four million residents once they receive the federal funding. That follows a federal judge’s order yesterday that the U.S. Department of Agriculture fully restore the benefits for November. The DHHS had said this week that beneficiaries would receive 50-percent of their normal funds on Saturday.
They now say the full allotment will be made within 48-hours of getting the money from the federal government. The Trump administration, however, has appealed the order.
