Grand Haven, MI (WGHN)- After 17 years of service, Bluebird Cancer Retreats announces the upcoming retirement of  Executive Director, Renee Denslow.

Since joining Bluebird in 2008, Renee has been the face, heart, and guiding force behind their mission to enhance the lives of those experiencing cancer. Under her thoughtful guidance, Bluebird has grown from a small, local effort into a vibrant, widespread community recognized across West Michigan and beyond as a place of comfort, support, and renewal for cancer survivors, caregivers, and their families.

During her time serving at Bluebird, Renee has played a role in expanding retreat programming, enhancing fundraising opportunities, and introducing Bluebird to a wider community of volunteers and participants.

We are endlessly grateful to Renee for her commitment to Bluebird. Her impact will continue to be felt for years to come as we continue to uplift and support people experiencing the impact of cancer on their lives.

Thank you, Renee, for 17 years of devotion, leadership, and love. You will always be part of the Bluebird family!

We are wishing you lots of happiness in your future endeavors and a very relaxing retirement!

With heartfelt appreciation,

The Bluebird Board of Directors and Staff
