(Dearborn, MI) – Two suspects in the alleged Michigan terror plot are now facing federal charges. Last week, FBI Director Kash Patel announced five people had been arrested for “allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend.” Mohmed Ali and Majed Mahmoud are scheduled to appear in court this afternoon. Ali allegedly bought a shotgun, AR-15 style rifle as well as other accessories in August and September.
A criminal complaint says those purchases happened the same time third-party conversations referenced an attack.
