(Dearborn, MI) – The attorney representing a man arrested in Michigan as part of what the FBI said was a foiled terror plot says there’s no evidence. Five people from Dearborn and Inkster were taken into custody Friday for what senior law enforcement said was a plan tied to ISIS to attack somewhere in the U.S. Some of the suspects are reportedly naturalized citizens from the Middle East who had guns and firearms training.
Attorney Amir Makled said his client is 20 years old and had an interest in recreational firearms use, is not part of a terror cell and was not planning an attack. He expects his client to either be charged with something or released today.
