Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – A 10-year-old girl from Grand Haven has died after an ATV crash in Mason County. Deputies say it happened around 6:45 Friday evening on West Freeman Road in Grant Township.
The Mason County Sheriff’s Office reports the girl lost control of the ATV she was driving, causing it to overturn and pin her underneath. Despite life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 14-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. The community is mourning the young girl’s death.
