At 5:00 p.m., staff members will present a brief program on the Center’s purpose, services, and calendar events. Light snacks will be provided.
This move is the result of an exciting collaborative relationship between a church with unused space and a nonprofit in need of space but also facing budgetary restrictions. The move into Central Park Church has created more opportunities for members and budding relationships with church patrons.
Since its opening in 2017, the Holland Momentum Center has offered a community of support and a robust calendar of activities and outings for people who live with mental illness, addictions, and disabilities. No diagnosis or referral is required. Membership is only $1.00 per year.
The program calendar includes Uno tournaments, coloring, puzzles, trivia, mindfulness practice, open social times, chair yoga, karaoke, outings, and field trips. The Center’s calendar can be accessed at https://www.momentumcentergh.org/holland-program-calendar
The Center also offers a variety of support groups and training that are open to the general public. They are free and confidential
