(New York, NY) – The cost of a Fourth of July barbecue is going up. A new report from the Wells Fargo Agri-Food Institute says food and beverages for a typical Fourth of July barbecue for ten people will cost 130 dollars this year. That’s up a little over two percent from a year ago.
The increase is due in large part to the price of ground beef, which has risen over seven percent from last year.
