Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – Sluka Field, a longtime fixture in Grand Haven’s baseball community, is set to receive a major facelift. This week, the Grand Haven City Council approved a $534,884.76 renovation project aimed at revitalizing the field and ensuring it continues to serve future generations of young athletes.

Mayor Bob Monetza:

They will also be replacing the dugouts and installing a new outfield fence. These improvements build on previous renovations completed in 2020, which added a new building with concessions and restrooms, as well as fresh cement walkways.

Councilman Mike Fritz:

Sluka Field is home to the Tri-Cities Kids League.
