(Grand Rapids, MI) – Thousands of people turn out for several No Kings protests around west Michigan. Two of Saturday’s rallies were held in Grand Rapids, one in Kalamazoo brought people along Drake Road, others were in St. Joseph, South Haven, Muskegon, Grand Haven, Saugatuck, Holland, and Lowell. They were united in their opposition to President Trump’s policies and actions to send the National Guard and U.S. Marines into Los Angeles to combat anti-ICE protests.
Ramona is a 50501 volunteer in Grand Rapids and says the message of the “No Kings” protests is clear.
The protests were nonviolent.
