Ottawa County, MI (WGHN) – One finalist remains in the search for an Ottawa County Administrator. The June 11 events related to the Ottawa County Administrator search have been canceled following the withdrawal of finalist Mark Eisenbarth.

Michael Tremblay, the remaining finalist, will continue in the process and participate in a public interview with the Ottawa County Board of Commissioners as scheduled on Thursday, June 12 at 9:00 a.m. in the Board Room at the Administration Building (12220 Fillmore Street, West Olive). The meeting will be open to the public and livestreamed.

A planned meet-and-greet and community workgroup interview originally set for Wednesday, June 11, have been canceled.

Tremblay is a retiring U.S. Army officer and two-time Brigade Commander with more than 20 years of executive leadership experience. He served as City Manager (Garrison Commander) of USAG Humphreys in South Korea, managing a $1.1 billion capital improvement budget and overseeing major infrastructure development. His expertise includes municipal operations, crisis response, strategic planning, and workforce development.

A third finalist, Glen Salyer, had previously withdrawn from consideration.
