DNR Battling Upper Peninsula Fire

(Iron Mountain, MI) – The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is battling a fire in the Upper Peninsula. The blaze started burning Sunday northeast of Iron Mountain and was reported around 8:30 p.m. About six acres have burned so far.

Nearly three dozen firefighters are battling the flames, including a 20-person Hot Shot crew based in Idaho.
