(Dearborn, MI) – Triple-A Michigan is predicting nearly one-point-three million Michiganders will be traveling this weekend for Memorial Day. That is the second-highest on record for the holiday and is 37 thousand more people than last year. One-point-two million in the state will drive to their destinations. The auto club says to be considered traveling for the holiday, the trip must be at least 50 miles from home.
Nationwide, Triple-A predicts over 45 million people will travel.
