(Dearborn, MI) – Nearly one-point-three-million Michiganders are going to travel at least 50 miles from home for Memorial Day. Triple-A Michigan says the projection is the second-highest on record and is 37-thousand more people than last year. Across the country, the auto club projects over 45-point-one-million people will travel, setting a new Memorial Day record.
Nearly all of the people traveling in Michigan at one-point-two-million will drive to their destinations.
