Aide to Former MI House Speaker Charged With Embezzlement

(Lansing, MI) – An aide to the former Michigan House speaker is facing embezzlement charges. David Wayne Coker Jr. was charged yesterday with seven felonies including two counts of embezzlement of 100-thousand dollars or more.

Coker was a legislative aide for former House speaker Jason Wentworth. He’s free on bond and will appear in court on May 23rd.
