(Blendon Township, MI) – A fire at Mulch Pro on 96th Avenue north of Port Sheldon Street in Blendon Township Sunday afternoon kept crews from at least a dozen fire departments busy for hours Sunday afternoon and evening. Teaque Tiemeyer lives across the street from the business and got a text from the owner of Mulch Pro asking his friend what was happening.
Tiemeyer says when he saw piles of mulch on fire, he texted his friend back and knew it was not a good situation. No one was hurt, but the business has suffered heavy losses.
