(Jamestown Township, MI) – A library is closed because more than half of its employees quit. A Patmos Library spokesperson said while they rebuild their team they’re also preparing for its Summer Reading Program.
“This brief closure will allow us to ensure a smooth reopening and to prepare for a strong kickoff to our Summer Reading Program, which remains a top priority,” the website said.
The library recently made national news as parents voiced their concerns over LGBTQ+ books available for children to check out.
