(Grand Rapids, MI) – The jury in former Grand Rapids police officer Christopher Schurr’s second-degree murder trial is being told to keep deliberating. They told the judge around 3 p.m. they were deadlocked and cannot reach a verdict, and she told them to keep trying before sending them home for the day at 4:45 p.m. The jury will resume deliberations this morning.
