(Dearborn, MI) – Triple-A Michigan is predicting 60-percent of Michiganders will take a vacation this summer, up from 52-percent in 2024. Vice president of travel for Triple-A Debbie Haas says people are still prioritizing vacations as “an essential part of life” despite economic uncertainty.
Thirty-seven-percent of Michiganders are planning a beach trip, with 33-percent planning to visit a national or state park, 33-percent going to a lake, 30-percent planning a major metro destination, and 20-percent going to a theme park.
