(Muskegon, MI) – People gathered in Muskegon and Grand Rapids on May 1 for a National Day of Action protest against the Trump administration. Diane Parm joined the protest in Muskegon near Mart Dock, saying “America is in crisis” and she fears for her grandchildren’s future.
Mike Hakenjos was protesting for the first time and says he is very disturbed by Trump’s actions, saying it’s “not our democracy and this cannot go unchecked.” Another protest is planned for Saturday along South Westnedge Avenue in Portage.
