(Undated) –Today is National Adopt A Shelter Pet Day. The annual observation raises awareness about the thousands of pets in shelters across the country waiting for their forever homes. If you’re ready to take that step, many shelters are offering special discounts with the Bissel Pet Foundation and promotions to encourage adoptions today.
AT WGHN we have two Adopt a Pet segments. One with Big Lake Humane Society on Good Morning Grand Haven every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. and the other with Harbor Humane Society on Jesse Bruce Live. Both are sponsored by Haven Animal Hospital and Must Love Dogs in Grand Haven.
