(Undated) – Major League Baseball is once again honoring the legacy of Jackie Robinson. Tuesday is Jackie Robinson Day, marking the anniversary of the day he broke baseball’s color barrier. Robinson debuted with the Brooklyn Dodgers on April 15th, 1947. To honor the Hall of Famer, all players will wear his iconic number 42 in Dodger blue. Players, managers, coaches and umpires will also wear a special 42 patch on the side of their caps.

MLB established Jackie Robinson Day in 2004.
