(Grand Rapids, MI) – The Better Business Bureau in Western Michigan is warning storm victims to be on high alert. They say con artists are looking for homeowners who are making repairs. Officials say while there are a lot of good companies out there, there are also bad businesses preying on consumers.
They advise not paying in full up front, and checking references before agreeing to any work.
