Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – On Monday March 31st, the City of Grand Haven will begin the 2nd Street Sewer project.
The project will involve replacing the sewer main along 2nd Street between Fulton Avenue and Elliott Street and is expected to take approximately a month to complete, pending any weather-related delays. The work is necessary to ensure proper sewer flow between Fulton Avenue and Jackson Street.
The intersection of Fulton and 2nd Street will remain open to traffic.
The public parking lot at 2nd and Fulton will be closed for construction equipment staging and ground water treatment. Access will be maintained for residents within the project area. All others will be directed around the project site along Jackson Street and Fulton Avenue. Please follow the posted detour routes.
