(Troy, MI) – Troy Police say a suspect is in custody after a shooting at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital on Thursday morning. The shooting happened just after 7 a.m., and a 25-year-old victim was shot twice but is expected to be okay. Officials say both the suspect and victim are hospital employees and were friends that had a falling out recently. Police say they were able to arrest the suspect by 9:30 a.m. at his home.
An arraignment is expected within the next 48 hours.
