(Lansing, MI) – A statewide tornado drill is scheduled for 1 p.m. today. It is part of Severe Weather Awareness Week in Michigan. Officials are urging people to take part in the drill and test their safety plan at work or at home.
The safest place in a home is the basement, and if a house does not have that, an interior hallway or bathroom are the next best options.
