WALKER, Mich. (WGHN) – A 19-year-old is in serious condition after being hit by a vehicle in Ottawa County Monday. The crash happened in the intersection of Lake Michigan Drive and Ferndale Avenue NW around 10 p.m. A vehicle driven by a 16-year-old was traveling westbound when it hit a 19-year-old pedestrian.
Walker Police Captain Andy Veen tells TV 13 on your side that the car pulled over after the crash to check on the pedestrian. While that car was pulled over it was struck by another vehicle.
The road was closed in both directions for several hours.
This incident remains under investigation.
