(Lansing, MI) – Governor Gretchen Whitmer says the graduation rate for Michigan high schools has hit a record high. Data released by the Michigan Center for Educational Performance and Information says approximately 95-thousand-300 students graduated in the 2023-24 school year.
Whitmer says that is also a record since the state started using the cohort methodology to calculate graduation rates in 2007-08.
